POLYSORBATE IN MASSAGE OILS

Caring for our clients

Polysorbate is a chemical detergent sometimes added to medical drugs, vaccines and often in massage oils. The chemical is added to easy washing massage oils for the purpose of removing actual oil from the massage towels during washing. At Rockhampton Health Options we do not use polysorbate in our massage oils, we only use cold pressed natural oils with added pure 100 % essential oils. Our towels are laundered professionally to avoid using polysorbate and also for hygiene purposes. Polysorbates may perhaps trigger skin rash in sensitive persons. Also in caring for the environment our business is committed to chemical free water waste.
