Chlorophyll and Magnesium

Chlorophyll is the green pigment absorbing sunlight. Magnesium in the soil improves photosynthesis in plants. Healthy salad greens means it has a good magnesium presence.
So then, lettuce leaves are a good source of magnesium, the outer green leaves have a reliable magnesium presence. Imagine that a salad sandwich brimming with magnesium. It is a far more enjoyable experience to consume wholesome lettuce, tomato and cheese on homemade bread than any magnesium supplement. Just thinking about it gets the saliva a little active.
Other magnesium sources are leafy greens such as spinach and kale. Greens can also be juiced.
