Harmful Massage and High Blood Pressure
Recent comments concerning the numbers of cases with high blood pressure, appears to coincide with warnings I gave in recent years about harmful massage.
A theory emerged about 20 years ago, which state "break up the fibres". It took a decade for this theory to take hold, which seems to be reasonable as a theory. As always, natural law will react to harmful damage. The most persistent natural body process is to heal damage. So, when fibres are broken up, the body acts to repair the damage. Gradually scar tissue builds up, which possibly gives rise to pressure on the blood vessels.
I consider hurtful massage may trigger body tissue damage and cause harmful scar tissue buildup. Overexercise may also trigger risk of developing high blood pressure
